MIRI: SOP Properties Sdn Bhd yesterday hosted Chinese New Year open day at its sales gallery located at Marina Square 2 here.
This event was held in conjunction with the launch of its Taman Lambir Jaya Phase 4 Stage 2 commercial units comprising 24 double storey shophouses.
According to its senior building manager Frankie Choo, Stage 1 of the commercial units which consists of 43 units of double shophouses will be completed in the third quarter of 2018, and are about 80 percent sold and booked.
Reacting to this good response, the developer is coming up with Stage 2 targeted for completion in 2019 – the units also open for sale.
Spanning an area of 31 hectares, the new township Taman Lambir Jaya is strategically located at the junction of the upcoming Pan Borneo Highway and the existing Bekenu feeder road.
It can be easily accessed by residents from Bekenu, Long Lama, Bakong, Niah and Baram. It only takes 30 minutes to drive from Miri Airport and 15 minutes from Bekenu Town.

Presently, there are around 165 residential units occupied. The residential area is equipped with recreational park with jogging trail, lush landscape area, well-planned road and security patrol.
Upcoming phases comprising 298 residential units are expected to be constructed in stages and targeted for completion by 2023.
“The company is focusing on providing more affordable landed property without having to compromise on the quality and design. In the city area, the price of a single storey terrace house ranges from RM270,000 to RM300,000 whereas in Taman Lambir Jaya, the price starts at RM220,000, making it the most affordable landed property in this region,” Choo said.
