MIRI: Sarawak Oil Palms Ber­had (SOPB) held a ground break­ing cere­mony for its new head office here yes­ter­day.

The 18-storey SOP Tower with two-storey base­ment car park loc­ated at Lot 2229, Block 9, Jalan Merbau here will be com­pleted in 2025.

The mod­ern work place for SOPB staff will have an in-house day care centre, recre­ational centre, swim­ming pool, mod­ern con­fer­ence room, art-gal­lery, show room, gym­nas­ium and busi­ness lounge as well as some space for rent.

SOPB Group Exec­ut­ive Chair­man Tan Sri Datuk Ling Chiong Ho offi­ci­ated at the cere­mony accom­pan­ied by Group Chief Exec­ut­ive Officer Paul Wong Hee Kwong and Chief Oper­at­ing Officer Eric Kiu Kwong Seng.
