Research Conservation and Collaboration Projects

• To enhance potential conservation value areas in our estates, SOPB initiate the establishment of conservation projects in our estates.
• Collaborations has been established with MPOB’s Tropical Peat Research Institute (TROPI), Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and other universities from the UK and Japan in the research efforts.
• Besides conservation, our other main focus of the research collaborations are on the GHG flux in palm oil plantations.
